A
better Cachaça…
Batuque Superior Cachaça
is premium quality spirit, aged
in Santos Mahogany barrels. It
is considerably smoother than
typical clear Cachaça and
has a warm, golden amber color.
At 84 proof, alcohol content is
comparable to other brands but
this is where comparison stops.
Cachaça around the world
is most typically mixed into cocktails
(the most famous being the Caipirinha)
because most people find the spirit
fiery hot to consume if it is
not mixed. But this is not what
you should expect from Batuque
Superior Cachaça. While
our Cachaça mixes wonderfully
into any cocktail
calling for Cachaça, you
can also enjoy Batuque straight
up or over ice, sipped like the
fine spirit that it is.
Just as we spared no effort in
creating our package, we understood
from the beginning that the spirit
inside the bottle needed to be
of the best possible quality.
Cachaça has long been the
national spirit of Brazil. It
has become amazingly popular in
Europe, and is soon to see explosive
growth in the USA!
Check out a couple of Photos
of Batuque before it has been
decanted.
About
the bottle:
The Batuque bottle was designed
to elicit response and emotion.
With a liquid known for its origins,
we wanted a bottle that clearly
spoke of Brazil, its art, music
and beauty. The bottle is made from
a fine quality porcelain at our
facility in Brazil - one of the
largest producers of collectables
in the world. We have close to 40
years of experience in manufacturing
ceramic products. Reaching levels
of efficiency never before achieved,
we have created a Porcelain decanter
that can be thought of as a fine
collectable while priced competitively
compared to the better glass that
is being used by todays premium
spirits. The complexities involved
in producing a viable porcelain
container to hold liquids and function
as well as a machine made glass
bottle can not be overstated. This
is one of several elements that
will assure our brands long term
attraction and truly unique character.
But remember, the beauty of this
product is much more than skin deep.
If you know Cachaça, after
one taste you will immediately recognize
this is an incredible Cachaça
- one you are sure to enjoy mixed
into a cocktail or.

Caipirinha: Recipes
1 Lime
2 Ounces of Batuque Cachaça
Sugar (2 teaspoons or to taste)
Ice
Wash and cut the lime into quarters.
Put them on the bottom of a rocks
glass. Spoon the sugar over the limes
and then using a pestle or the handle
of a wooden spoon, mash the sugar
into the limes, releasing the juice
from the lime and combining it with
the sugar. Pour Batuque Cachaça
over the limes and sugar, add ice,
stir, and enjoy!
There is no cocktail, this delicious,
that is this easy to make but there
are a few quick tips and tricks to
tell you about. Before you cut the
lime, you can gently squeeze it or,
with slight pressure, roll it around
on your cutting board. This helps
the lime give up its juice! Another
important tip to get you headed towards
the perfect Caipirinha: Be gentle
but forceful! Limes do have bitter
oils in their skin. If you mash down
too hard on the limes when combining
with the sugar, you will release these
oils. Having a positive attitude and
saying nice things about the lime
can also help.
For a party or just a few friends,
make a pitcher of Caipirinha! Follow
the same recipe and just add lime,
sugar, and two ounces of Batuque for
each serving. Have fun and please
always drink responsibly.

Recipes.
